Fifty years after the Apollo 11 and on the Beyond mission’s launch day, MartuxM realizes an audiovisual concert homage to that famous: «Giant leap for mankind».
Apollo 11 Reloaded is a new musical project by Maurizio Martusciello aka MartuxM – one of the most talented electronic and experimental music character – dedicated to the anniversary of the Moon landing, an electronic orchestration for the 50th anniversary of the space mission Apollo 11. Yet this project does not only look back to the past but, becomes a natural bridge that connects past, present and future. The concert will start just a few hours from the Beyond mission launch, led by Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano.
Among the tracks composed for the project we find remixes of Us and Them of the Pink Floyd and Space Oddity of David Bowie, arranged for this occasion by the renowned pianist Danilo Rea together with original tracks composed by Rea and Pasquale Catalano, movie composer among the most representative of the Italian cinema, from Sorrentino to Ozpetek.
Event by Fondazione MAXXI, with ASI – Agenzia Spaziale Italiana and Regione Lazio. Under the patronage of MIBAC and Roma Capitale. Media partner Sky TG24.
