Free audioguides

Free audioguides in Italian and English are available at the infopoint with focussing on the museum architecture.

The audioguides are also available in a version for people with hearing difficulties.


Facilities

ROMA PASS: MAXXI is joining the Roma Pass circuit, the tourist card offering economic benefits and services facilitating visits to the city’s museums and part of its province.

MAXXI and La Galleria Nazionale

Holders of a MAXXI entrance ticket may purchase a ticket for La Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea at reduced price; similarly, holders of a ticket for La Galleria Nazionale may purchase a ticket for MAXXI at the reduced price of €9.


MAXXI and MEI

Partecipants in the Meeting of the Independent Labels, from 28 to 30 September at Faenza (Ravenna), may take advantage of reduced price museum admission of €9 or a discount of 20% on the purchase of a Individual myMAXXI card by 31 December 2018, on presentation of their MEI ticket/coupon.

Free admittance is consented:
– for staff and students on degree course, specialist degrees or post-graduate and doctorate courses of the following faculties: architecture, conservation of cultural heritage, educational sciences or letters and philosophy with an archaeological or art historical major. The same benefits are also offered to staff and students of corresponding faculties or course in the European Union states.
– to students on presentation of their certificate of registration for the current academic year and to staff on presentation of a suitable document.
– to the staff and students of academies of fine arts or corresponding institutes in the European Union. The free ticket is issued to students on presentation of the certificate of registration for the current academic year.
– for study purposes and for research approved by scholastic or university institutes, by academies or by Italian or foreign research and cultural institutes, for periods determined by those making the request.
