An intimate and personal exploration of the bond between mother and son, an irreverent and moving reflection on loss and mourning.

Mohamed El Khatib brings back to the stage the play with which he gained international attention, staging the dialogue with his own mother, her death, and the inner disintegration of a son. He articulates a dramaturgy composed of excerpts from diaries, e-mails sent and received, voice mails, SMS messages, and fragments of conversations with his father.

Through this emotional map, the director, alone on stage, presents an autobiographical tale that soon becomes a universal tale of our being sons and daughters.
