For the first time, the Villani soundtrack is played live during the Terre Colte exhibit. On the stage LED screens, electronic music, and grandmas’ cooking.
Donpasta, with Villani Remix, wants to talk about the new millennium Italian cuisine and its changes in a multimedia project that stages live cooking, theatrical narration, live music, and film images. Villani Remix is a multi-media and multi-disciplinary project that, through images, videos, and sounds talks about food, which is the common denominator of stories, recipes, and people.
This is a journey through food, Italian history, and the latest news of all of the Terre Colte projects through interviews with farmers, sheepherders, breeders, and grannies who will bring out, through their gastronomic memories, the history of popular Italian cuisine and the design paths for the recovery of abandoned lands. Through the Terre Colte initiative, Fondazione CON IL SUD and Enel Cuore have allowed for the enhancement of 100 hectares of uncultivated or abandoned lands in Southern Italy through nine projects, by promoting social inclusion, work, and local development.
