What does it mean today to talk about the spiritual aspect of art? O – Della materia spirituale dell’arte presents a reflection that brings together the dawning of a western sacred and spiritual path within the porosity of different cultures and beliefs symbolised by the city of Rome and the current status of the world today with its social and hyper-connected dimension.

In a rigorously non-confessional vision, the exhibition, therefore, brings together works of contemporary art with a selection of archaeological relics from the capital’s leading museums: the Vatican Museums, the National Roman Museum, the Capitoline Museums and the National Etruscan Museum at Villa Giulia.
