Through play, exploration and storytelling, we discover the ‘superpowers’ of plants, starting with those that grow in the MAXXI square.
Plants can withstand heat and cold, disperse their seeds, change their leaves with the seasons and communicate with insects. Each session begins with a story dedicated to one of these abilities.
Young and old alike explore the square in search of clues amongst the plants and experience their discoveries first-hand. At the end, everyone takes home a small piece of the garden, with a mission to care for it over time.
The MAXXI GREEN Labs are a project by GRANDE MAXXI, in collaboration with the Festival del Verde e del Paesaggio.
