A meeting that traces the career of the master of international painting.
During the on the spiritual matter of artexhibit, the master of international painting, Sean Scully, meets the critic and curator, DaniloEccher, to trace the phases of his career, the evolution of his artistic path, and his relationship with the spiritual and immaterial dimension of art.
Sean Scully received two nominations for the Turner Prize. His works are in the collections of major museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art and the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the National Gallery of Art and the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, the National Gallery of Australia, the Tate Gallery in London. His traditional and highly material painting is a direct expression of the artist’s presence, a human gesture that, in the abstraction of representations, turns towards the spiritual.
