Mistress America
directed by Noah Baumbach
casting Greta Gerwig
(United States, 2015, 84′)

Tracy’s experience as a college freshman in New York is not as exciting as she hoped. Nor is her social life in the city particularly satisfying. At least until she meets Brooke, an enterprising thirty year-old and her future stepsister.
Brooke lives the cosmopolitan life in Manhattan, and helps pull Tracy out of her isolation, dragging her along on her wacky adventures.

Directed by the co-author of The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou’s screenplay, a movie inspired by successfull films like Something Wild, After Hours and Desperately Seeking Susan.
