A guided tour of the permanent Collection and the exhibition Paolo Di Paolo. Mondo perduto.
A brief introduction to the exhibition containing the works of the MAXXI collection will precede a tour of the exhibition revolving around the photos by Paolo di Paolo, which were brought back to light fifty years after the end of the photographer’s activity. Among the many people he photographed, witness Pier Paolo Pasolini at the “Monte dei Cocci” in Rome, Tennessee Williams on the beach with his dog, Anna Magnani with her son on the Circeo beach, Kim Novak ironing in his room at the Grand Hotel, and Sofia Loren joking with Marcello Mastroianni at the Cinecittà studios.
We recommend booking no later than 1:00 pm of the Friday prior to the event by sending an email to edumaxxi@fondazionemaxxi.it or at the very Museum Infopoint up to thirty minutes before the beginning of the tour. Booking will be possible until full capacity (25 people max).
