Following the performance In the woods there is a bird… (6:00 PM, Carlo Scarpa Hall), the German artist Olaf Nicolai will meet the public to discuss his work.
An artistic career that falls within the conceptual art tradition, through the analysis of the relationship and the association between ideas, images and objects.
Exploiting various expressive media, Nicolai continuously questions our habitual way of seeing things and transfers the theories of the natural sciences and humanistic studies to the world of aesthetics and art where they are reinterpreted in wholly new contexts.
