An event to analyse a project that has always been the object of cultural debates and renovation projects
Building upon the original model of the IACP (Istituto Autonomo Case Popolari, Autonomous Institute of Public Housing) Corviale residential complex of Rome, designed by Mario Fiorentino together with a team of 23 designers in 1972, architect Guendalina Salimei, winner of the tender issued by Rome’s ATER in 2009 for the renovation of the utility-free floor of the Corviale, together with Laura Peretti and Susanna Nobili, who respectively won and took part in the “Rigenerare Corviale” tender launched in 2015, retrace the historical phases and vicissitudes of a discussed, exemplary piece of Italian architecture.
