The event links Correale with the artistic duo Eva and Franco Mattes, leading representatives of net art, who work by manipulating and altering media, video games, websites, films and advertisement to denounce the paradoxes of contemporary society and its mystifications.
The politics of the time and the impact of technology on work and the human body are at the centre of Danilo Correale’s practice, which employs various strategies, from the pictorial representation of data to sensorial and performative approaches aimed at involving the public in exercises such as slowness, laziness and boredom.
