Graziella Lonardi Buontempo Room – free entry until full capacity
Today Italian architectural design is enjoying a state of renewed vitality and could represent the vehicle through which to reposition our project culture within the framework of international debate.
The book, published by Libria, has a double objective: on the one hand, it seeks to establish through its text a line of continuity between past, present and future research and, on the other, to use the author’s images to affirm the autonomy of design as a research field able to autonomously absolve the discipline’s complex web of primary, compositional, poetic and planning problems.
Carlo Prati is the author of Cinque architetture svizzere (Libria 2016), Alien Urbs (Prospettive 2013), Upgrade Architecture (Edilstampa 2010), Jean Nouvel (Edilstampa 2007). He teaches at Roma Tre University, the University of Genoa and the IED in Rome.
