Once again this year, the collaboration between the Rome Film Festival and MAXXI is renewed
The Rome Film Festival returns from 17th to 27th October and it brings you to the MAXXI. Holders of a ticket or an accreditation for the fourteenth edition can enter the museum at a reduced price of € 9.
The 14th edition of the Film Festival chooses to play with the delicate features and mysterious charm of Greta Garbo. She was the first great beauty icon of cinema, a symbol of that femininity of the 1920s that stood out everywhere in the world and that knew how to conquer the audience with charisma and magnetism.
Like every year, the Festival involves numerous other places of the Capital, up to the MAXXI museum and beyond, hosting a wide and stimulating program of screenings. During the on the spiritual matter of art exhibit, MAXXI offers three films to elaborate on the theme of the spiritual through the eyes of three great directors: The Tree of life, 2012, by Terrence Malick (18th October at 4:30 p.m.); Dersu Uzala: The Hunter, 1975, by Akira Kurosawa (22nd October at 4:30 p.m.); The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, 2007, by Julian Schnabel (25th October at 5:00 p.m.).
