The Superstudio story from its foundation to the last projects from the late Seventies
An opportunity to discuss the exhibition Superstudio 50 thanks to the book Superstudio Opere 1966-78, edited by Gabriele Mastrigli: a comprehensive review of all the Superstudio projects, from the best known such as Monumento Continuo and Le dodici Città Ideali to the most extreme generated by the Cultura materiale extra-urbana cycle.
Essays, drawings and architectural and design project reports, photomontages, previously unpublished photos and appendices that permit a chronological reconstruction of the Superstudio story from its foundation to the final projects from the late Seventies; a review that shows how the group succeeded in becoming a fundamental interpreter of the international debate in architecture, planning and design, helping define new forms of intervention based on a theoretical and metaphorical structure.
