more information

A radical, psychedelic and irreverent reworking of Oscar Wilde’s tragedy of the same name.

Una tragicommedia all’italiana (An Italian-style tragicomedy), curated by Davide Oberto, is a programme that explores how Italian cinema has transformed social tensions and bourgeois vacuity into comedy – often tragic and ironic – oscillating between biting satire, social criticism and the grotesque.

In collaboration with the Cineteca Nazionale.
The film is distributed by Cinecittà.
