Three tales of primal instincts, featuring grotesque and amoral characters, set in a post-apocalyptic and dilapidated Sicily.

Una tragicommedia all’italiana (An Italian-style tragicomedy), curated by Davide Oberto, is a programme designed to explore how Italian cinema has transformed social tensions and bourgeois vacuity into comedy – often tragic and ironic – oscillating between biting satire, social criticism and the grotesque.

In collaboration with the Cineteca Nazionale, Ila Palma by Rean Mazzone, Tea Nova and the Cineteca di Bologna.
