Literature and cinema combine to rediscover the roots of human beings and recompose the pieces of their past.
MAXXI and the Maria and Goffredo Bellonci Foundation present a series of meetings with the five finalists of the LXXIII edition of the Strega Prize, the prestigious Italian literary award that for years has recounted our country by documenting its language, changes, and traditions.
A new program designed to give space to the best voices of contemporary narrative and start a collective reflection, through dialogue with other expressive languages, on the most urgent current events.
During the second meeting, Nadia Terranova, finalist for the 2019 Strega Prize with her book Addio Fantasmi (Einaudi) and the director Roberto Andò, both of Sicilian origin, talk about how literature and cinema combine to rediscover our roots and recompose the pieces of our past.
