Although museums still appear to many as immovable repositories of a past to be admired and preserved for future generations, they have never been static entities.
After all, their history recounts constant transformations, to the point that it is difficult to say exactly what a museum is today. The book on which the talk is based brings together the reflections of curators, researchers, architects, and art historians who have tackled the actuality of the museum and the questions posed by visitors who aspire to the role of actors today.
