Talks and videos in collaboration with MiCue Milano Design – Milano Design Film Festival
Three talks with video screenings
on design and architecture, with exceptional guests
from the two creative universes
Le Corbusier, the Leonardo da Vinci of the 20th Century who never succeeded in getting one of his designs built in Italy, died 50 years ago. In 1964, he entrusted Cassina with the right to recreate the furniture he conceived with Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret which have become absolute icons of design.
In the last event, Didi Gnocchi of 3D produzioni and the director Valeria Parisi introduce the screening of Le Corbusier 50 Storie di incontri che hanno rivoluzionato il design, the documentary that recounts the story of these creations through the architect’s places, the archives of the Fondation Le Corbusier and the testimony of numerous critics and architects including Philippe Starck, Richard Meier, Karl Lagerfeld, Mario Bellini and Piero Lissoni.
