A documentary by Ninni Bruschetta,
Italy, 2016, 81’
featuring Angelo Campolo, Emmanuele Aita, Celeste Gugliandolo
The filmmaker will be present
“Shakespeare is already cinema: telling the stories through images and sounds brings out their modernity and eternity.” Drawn from 400 hours of footage and 16 microphone, not so much a videoteatro as a documentary on the linguistic and narrative power of a text. Words, gazes, bodies and the liquid editing of Nello Grieco transform Hamlet into something midway between a ritual dance and an emotional uprising.
