In an Italian preview at MAXXI the programme Living Architectures Marathon presents the complete series of films Living Architectures by Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine. A monumental work expressing with great power and incisiveness the unusual and penetrating point of view which the two artists have reserved for some of the celebrated architecture of our time.
Five evening events discussing and introducing the public to the works of some of the leading figures in contemporary architecture: Rem Koolhaas, Richard Meier, Frank Gehry, Renzo Piano, Herzog & De Meuron.

Set in the refectory at Chateau Petrus in Pomerol, near Bordeaux, this films leads us into the party atmosphere of the collective meals shared by the seasonal workers during the Merlot grape harvest period.
The documentary offers a new view of the building designed by the Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron, following the daily lives of the grape-pickers during the most intensive period of the work.
