MAXXI B.A.S.E., Graziella Lonardi Buontempo Hall – admittance free while places available
The exponential growth in the art fair system, of the volumes dealt with at auction and the demand, and the stunning number of new museums created and launched around the world and the number of operators this implies are imposing a quantitative change of quite remarkable proportions upon what was once a small, elite system. In the face of this dynamic, it is essential that we ask questions about the future of contemporary art, the evolutionary nodes that characterise it and the sense of the actions not only of gallerists but also museums and structures verifying and validating artistic practices.
