MAXXI is commemorating its first ten years of activity with some of the main characters who have actively participated in the Museum’s cultural and artistic activities.
The starting point for this open discussion is the catalogue produced on the occasion of the exhibition project A Story for the Future. Ten years of MAXXI, a rich re-reading of these years of activity and research at the Museum and their impact on the contemporary creative community.
Together with the Artistic Director Hou Hanru and the MAXXI team, critics, philosophers, architects and artists including Michelangelo Pistoletto, Petra Blaisse, Franco Berardi and Antonio Spadaro take part in the debate on the role of the “Museum of the Future” and its new challenges: inclusiveness, sustainability and technological innovation.
