Piazza del Quarticciolo*
Curated by MAXXI’s Education Office and OHT / Salvatore Peluso
Within the event Little Fun Palace
A workshop free for families with children of between 5 and 10
A workshop for the whole family on the occasion of the exhibition The Street. Where the World is Made to have fun together and learn through art
What means of transport do we usually use to move around? What buildings do we encounter on our path? What kind of visual, sonic and olfactory stimuli do we encounter and to what intensity? Who do we meet? How do these meetings/collisions come about?
Each family analyses the route taken to reach the Quarticciolo and presents it graphically to recount their personal experience of urban exploration. At the end the various palettes are joined in a kind of collective mapping from which a city will symbolically take shape
Reservations are required and may be made by calling 3386419518 from Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM or by writing to edumaxxi@fondazionemaxxi.it by 1:00 PM on the previous Friday.
*in case of bad weather, the workshop is going to be held inside the Teatro Biblioteca Quarticciolo (Via Castellaneta, 10 – next to the Piazza)
