Presentation of the video from the education and performance project
TAXXI. Movement of bodies and vehicles sheltered from contemporary acid rains
Realised on the 15th of October 2011, TAXXI was the conclusive event in the Education Department project curated by Myriam Laplante and conceived and realised by Petra Arndt, Ali Assaf, Myriam Laplante, Ilaria Loquenzi, Branislav Petric and Ganni Piacentini.
Six artists together with a group of 60 people took possession of the MAXXI spaces in a shared performance to experiment with the inversion of roles: from passive visitors to active and participatory visitors.
Saturday the 6th of October will see the presentation of the video by Cesare Querci that recounts actions, tableaux vivants, images and sounds that involved the museum spaces in a collective performance and sound installation.
The projection will be accompanied by the photographs of Silvia Boscutti, Pierfrancesco Giordano and Dino Ignani.
Following the projection, the artists and protagonists of the performance will discuss the event.
