Two video works by the Chinese artist, whose practice explores themes such as individual memory, migration and borders.

Songs and Cries, created between 2023 and 2024 and comprising six short films, responds to the individual experiences, emotional traumas and shifts in social psychology brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and the period that followed.

In The Banquet, created in 2020 during the early stages of the pandemic, the artist travels from southern China to a remote canyon in Xinjiang, where, in a completely uninhabited landscape, she invites local Uyghur residents to share a dinner.
