How has the economic side of contemporary been modified by the current global scenario?
Over time the consecration of the market, with its investments and speculations, together with capitalism and various episodes of cultural post colonialism, has modified the meaning of many actions, provoking the transformation of social utopianism into the utopianism of capital.
Commencing from the themes explored in the exhibition Utopia for Sale?, the American artist Amie Siegel will speak with Mariolina Bassetti, Pippo Ciorra and Hou Hanru about how her work seeks to respond to these modifications by investigating the social and cultural changes of the past century.
