MAXXI Piazza
AMACI, the Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums, is calling all those who work in various roles and at every level in the contemporary art sector in Italy to take part in a day of action: Call to Art is a general assembly of the contemporary art world, a six-hour relay during which the MAXXI piazza will see a sequence of scheduled institutional presentations, contributions from the public, opportunities for reflection and performances. Everyone is called to actively participate, to present their experiences, to give a sign of commitment and participation.
An opportunity for debate and discussion focussing on ideas, proposals and stimuli that may provide instruments for knowledge and reflection useful in developing alternative solutions that will allow us to overcome this moment of crisis in the world of art.
Everyone is invited to respond to the Call to Art by launching ideas and themes for debate and by sending proposals, requests for intervention and contributions of all kinds to AMACI which over the next few days will be collating all the material in preparation for the relay.
