The national study and research seminar focusing on the new “cemetery planning” challenges
For millennia, in almost every part of the world high quality architecture has dedicated to the demands and problems of the “city of the dead” almost as much attention as to that for the “cities of the living”, frequently with equally significant and enduring results: from the Etruscan burial sites at Tarquinia and Cerveteri to the Brion Tomb by Carlo Scarpa in the small Veneto town of Altivole.
