Performed for the first time in Italy at MAXXI, Quintetto Notturno Concertante is the chamber music version for guitar and string quartet of Notturno concertante by Fabio Vacchi, one of the greatest living composers.
On this occasion the concert will feature Adriano Walter Rullo, guitar, together with the Ensemble notturno concertante, formed in the August of 2012 on the occasion of the worldwide debut of the quintet at Bahia Blanca. The quartet is composed of Daniela Cammarano (violin), Daniele Orlando (violin), Paolo Castellitto (viola) and Andrea Agostinelli (cello).
The concert programme comprises, as well as the work by Maestro Fabio Vacchi, the Boccherini’s Quintet and a tribute to Argentina with three tangos by the most important Argentinean composers, Osvaldo Pugliese, Carlo Di Sarli and Horacio Salgan, specially transcribed for the quintet by Maestro Massimiliano Tisano.
