Stadiums, symbols of passion and change, tell the story of cities through architecture, culture, and collective identity.
Exploring stadiums today—their constant physical transformations, use, and perception in contemporary society—means delving into cities and urban regeneration, social anthropology, political and economic issues, and artistic and cultural expressions.
The exhibition showcases 54 stadium projects, designed and built worldwide, arranged chronologically to highlight the complexity of meanings associated with and layered within these structures. The exhibition’s itinerary begins with the architectural evolution of stadiums and expands to include stories from popular culture, major international projects, and works of art.
