The Media Art Festival is back in Rome. The Festival of digital arts promoted by the Mondo Digitale Foundation is now at its third edition.
Digital artists, in their unusual role as changemakers, experiment new processes and synergies for sustainable development
The MAXXI Museum, together with the Accademia di Belle Arti and the Palestra dell’Innovazione of the Mondo Digitale Foundation, will host this event that will engage many different audiences as main characters, starting with school students, and contaminates the conception and creative production processes, developing innovative technological solutions. Culture-creating efforts are supported by an unusually full program, and the artist residencies are interpreted in an original and unprecedented way.
Not only does the event bring works of art by world-famous artists such as Joseph De Lappe and Sigalit Landau to the Italian capital, but it is also set within a prestigious “system of international festivals”, such as Stavanger’s Arctic Biennale and Spectra Aberdeen’s Festival of Light, supported by the Creative Europe Programme.
