Pina Bausch radically changed the world of 20th Century theatre and dance. With her “pieces” created with the Tanztheater Wuppertal, Bausch revolutionised the relationship between movement and emotion, inner self and story, everyday gesture and choreography. Her interest in what ‘moves people” created a vision of the dancer no longer as interpreter but as co-author in a long and wonderful journey of the spirit.
