David is a Canadian PhD student in Art History. He leaves for Italy to discover all the treasures that have been the subject of his studies.

During that Grand Tour, which is also a journey of self-discovery, David makes friends, meets scholars and enthusiasts and, perhaps, also falls in love. No subject is richer and more fascinating than Art History, and there is no country in the world more full of artistic wonders than Italy.

With the expertise and talent that have made him a highly appreciated divulger, Claudio Strinati takes us on an exciting journey through the treasures and protagonists of Italian art, revealing exciting and little-known behind-the-scenes, debunking myths and recounting anecdotes through dialogues that are full of wonder, light-hearted and entertaining.

This special story is both a guide and an educational novel, thanks to which we will look at the wonders of Italy with new eyes.
