Voices and music for the conclusive event of a major work of great symbolic value
The installation e così sia… is a project that has seen work proceed every day for over two months. Between April and June Bruna Esposito placed legumes and cereals on the museum floor in a circular progression to form a left-facing swastika characterised by myriad forms and shades of colour, with a burner and a glass bowl containing water and bay leaves at the centre. As a conclusion to this long and painstaking operation, laden with symbols of purification, and following the execution of a composition with music and words, the artist and a number of assistant will proceed to destroy the mandala, completing the operation with its “unmaking”, a integral part of the work.
Bruna Esposito with Simone Cametti, Paola d’Agnese, Roberta De Lazzari, Cristina Falasca, Lorenzo Kamerlengo.
