Two great cartoonists, visionary and caustic authors, undisputed protagonists of a satire still today capable of making us laugh and think.
In conversation with the director of Repubblica Carlo Verdelli, Altan and Staino discus their years of experience at periodicals such as Tango, Il Male and Cuore, the power of their characters as instruments of scorn and political protest, capable of constantly accompanying the vicissitudes of an Italy facing up to a complex historical period, from the death of Aldo Moro to the Craxi era and the Clean Hands investigation. Extraordinary testimony to a creative world that has made the capacity for communication its strong suit.
In view of the meeting, Altan will create three special vignettes that will be presented to three fortunate participants following a prize draw organized at the end of the talk.
