An in-depth investigation of the theme
Food Landscape Architecture Archives
The objective of the initiative is to investigate through the archive holdings the historical and “sustainable” dimensions of the relationship between food, landscape and architecture in the 20th Century, focusing where possible on the ideas handed down to contemporary creativity.
From 19 to 22 May MAXXI B.A.S.E. will be exhibiting a number of reproductions of drawings and archive materials illustrating projects associated with food, in relation to its production, sale and consumption, or to tourism and recreation (markets, shops, restaurants, hotels, Alpine refuges and service stations).
