Iwan Baan, Olivo Barbieri, Gabriele Basilico, Gianni Berengo Gardin, Antonio Biasiucci, Patrizia Bonanzinga, Luca Campigotto, Giancarlo Ceraudo, Giovanni Chiaramonte, Paola De Pietri, Ramak Fazel, Vittore Fossati, Moreno Gentili, Claudio Gobbi, Guido Guidi, Andrea Jemolo, Martino Marangoni, Raffaela Mariniello, Luciano Romano, Angela Rosati: 20 photographers recounting the story of the MAXXI construction site.
20 points of view tackling the complex theme of a place in continuous mutation, never the same, necessarily transitory. It was out of reflection on this transitory nature that the idea for the project was born, a way of fixing through images, the “in progress” condition of the site: an “auteur memory”, a wealth of gazes reflecting the myriad emotions this great work has succeeded in arousing.
The exhibition presents a selection of images by the photographers invited to participate, from among the over 180 acquired by MAXXI for its collections over the years.
