15 years of MAXXIThe Large Glassfree guided tour
Remembering is not enough. Performance is a programme of live events compiled as an integral part of the exhibition featuring over 200 works from the MAXXI Collection, flanking the exposition and enriching it with new meanings.
Thanks to performances in front of their works, the artists Elisabetta Benassi, Rosella Biscotti and Vedovamazzei will offer the public new interpretative instruments and provide new cues for a rereading of the works and a renewal of the dialogue between the work itself and our social, political and economic reality.
FIRST EVENT
14/15/16 February
Friday and Sunday at 18.00 / Saturday at 20.00
Vedovamazzei. The end of a job never done
Gallery 3 | Ticket price: 3 Euros
The artistic duo Vedovamazzei’s project relates to the work Climbing, 2000.
The artists have conceived an action around the work on show that reactivates the piece and, over ten years on from its creation, supplements its meaning.
