An international exhibition that pays homage to one of the most powerful and universal forces in existence: the maternal spirit of life itself.
Our planet is not only a cradle of breathtaking biodiversity and ancient wisdom, but also a living symbol of nurturing, continuity, and creation. Across languages and cultures, “mother” is often among the first words we speak — a sound that holds generations of meaning, tenderness, and strength. From Mother Earth to Mother Nature, from Motherland to the sacred essence of motherhood itself, this exhibition invites us to rediscover that primal, unbreakable bond—the one that connects us to each other and to the planet we call home.
The maternal instinct — to protect, to nurture, to care — becomes our most profound metaphor. This is a call for care, for preservation, for coexistence. Conceived by Leyla Aliyeva, Founder of IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action), and curated by Emin Mammadov, MAMA “Mother Nature” brings together artists from across the globe. Through painting, sculpture, digital media, photography, and immersive installations, their works reflect on nature’s grace and fragility, on memory and belonging, on transformation and resilience
