Viganò, Paola

Paola Viganò is an architect and urban planner and Associate Professor with the IUAV in Venice.
A Visiting Professor at numerous European schools of architecture, including KU Leuven (Belgium), EPFL Lausanne (Switzerland) and Aarhus (Denmark), she also participates in the Doctorate in Urban Planning programme at the IUAV and the EMU – European Masters of Urbanism programme.
Together with Bernardo Secchi in 1990 he founded the office Secchi – Viganò, the winner of numerous international competitions and selected in 2008 to collaborate in the Gran Paris project.
Her more important publications include: La città elementare (1999), Territori della nuova modernità/Territories of a new modernity (2001) and Antwerp: Territory of a New Modernity (2009).
