Orta, Lucy
Lucy Orta (Birmingham, 1966) trained as a fashion designer but working as an artist since the beginning of the 90’s, has produced numerous works focusing on crucial themes of contemporary society. Following the foundation of “Lucy + Jorge Orta” in 1991, their work has been exhibited in major museums including: Hangar Biccoca (Milano), ICA (London), Museum of Contemporary Art (Sydney).
