What makes a building inspire and leave an imprint on history? What are the principles for sustainable architecture in harmony with its surroundings?
Every year, the Italian Architecture Prize, promoted by MAXXI and Triennale Milano, presents us with a cross-section of Italian architecture of the present, with an eye to the future. Now in its fourth edition, it promotes works by designers active in Italy whose commitment to innovation, project quality and the social role of architecture, awarding prizes for the best building in the last three years, the best project under 35 and a career award.
The exhibition, which takes place in alternate years between Rome and Milan, presents the projects of the Award winners and finalists.
