How do we perceive the cities in which we live?
Not just the architecture and the monuments but also the odours, the flavours and the colours of everyday life that help us piece together into sensorial landscapes our experience of city life. In the exhibition Local Icons. Urban landscapes / North-South,the works of eight designers recount the urban landscape in the opposing hemispheres, fusing the ideal and real life. During the workshop we shall rediscover the myriad faces of Rome and we shall give form to our sensorial memory by creating soft landscapes in Alcantara®.
