A whole day at the museum, artist Miltos Manetas, a pioneer of relational art, and architect Despoina Damaskou envisioning the future after 30 years of relational aesthetics.
Neen was the first art movement of this century–introduced by Manetas in 2000 at Gagosian Gallery in NY but “desired” during Traffic, the first Relational exhibition.

Manetas accompanies the audience of the exhibition 1+1. The Relational Years, on a discovery of Neen and his relationship with Bourriaud’s ideas and the artists of the show. The artist does that in a performative way, he calls Manetas University, speaking in English, Italian and occasionally Greek and Spanish.

Spaghetto Topography by Despoina Damaskou
lecture, in English and French
Eleonora Farina, MAXXI curator, introduces an architecture lecture by Despoina Damaskou in printed matter and correspondence with Miltos Manetas. Spaghetto, by Despoina Damaskou, in Athens, Bogotá, and Todi, holds the architecture representation of Miltos Manetas’ work. From 2023, the analysis of the three crucial topographies reveals a philosophical evolution that, in the end, is intrinsically critical on the topic of modernity.
