talkOscar Murillo: Frequencies
We meet and discuss the artist through the poetics of his works, on the occasion of the publication of a volume on his most recent pieces.
Fan Bo is an artist who breaks away from the clichéd interpretations of contemporary Chinese artists, most of whom grew up with a realist-socialist style of artistic training, and most of whom later took part in that wave of dissent from stylistic homologation that has affected China since 1985, leading most of them to look to Western languages.
