Donata Pizzi
MAXXI Auditorium – admittance free while places available
Donata Pizzi has roamed the world with a Hasselblad presenting places, architecture and people; her photography is the result of a process of meditation and a search for the essence of things.
She is the protagonist of the second event devoted to her photographic project Around the metaphysical city. In this work, initiated at the Triennale in Milan and concluded at the Central State Archive in Rome, the photographer combines the need to explore the traces of our history concealed among the folds of contemporary reality with the possibility of circumscribing them through the photographic lens, drawing attention to their multiple meanings.
