Private life and professional practice
are entwined in a story covering over 40 years
in the fields of graphic design, publishing, exhibition design,
urban design and small-scale architecture.

Over 40 years’ work recounted through images, comments, citations or articles published in magazines for which Italo Lupi has worked. An image consultant for La Rinascente, IBM Italia, the Milan Triennale, later the art director of Domus and chief editor and art director of Abitare: Autobiografia grafica is a complete book examining the Lupi’s work as a whole, from publIShing to small-scale architecture, by way of urban design and above all the temporary or museum exhibition designs, without forgetting the masters who have inspired him during the course of his career. The point from which everything starts is special: the poster designs created during his high school years.o.
