An event to pay tribute to the great architect on the occasion of the presentation of a volume containing essays dedicated to him
The volume Architettura. Sostanza di cose sperate. Scritti in onore di Franco Purini (Iiriti Editore) is a collection of essays curated by Monica Manicone and dedicated to the architect by colleagues and friends on the occasion of his being bestowed with the title of Professor Emeritus by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research in 2015. Said title was conferred on the architect owing to his important contribution to innovation in the field of research and didactics and the great prestige he lent to the Sapienza University of Rome, where he worked as Tenured Professor at the Faculty of Architecture until 2012.
